Of course, this model is built on Skate-tech, which transfers energy directly to the edges of the board thanks to the most advanced system hanger 3.0. It is slightly wider than the previous version 2.0 for a better snowboard boot fit and has wider shock pads, offering more precise energy transfer. The Orion's progressive hardness spoon is stiffer about its base and gradually becomes softer going up, providing precise board steering and adaptation to the prevailing terrain. The bindings can be set in Surf or Freeride mode by changing the rubber pads from softer to harder, and swapping the mid-foot straps from the left binding to the right and vice versa. These straps are molded in 3D to evenly distribute their pressure on the boot's surface. Orion also features the new 3D Flex Fit 2.0 low-profile toe straps, which are made of stretchable material so they conform to the shape of any type of snowboard boot.
